FOUR: REVERB

For today’s shoot, I wanted to look deeper into the concept I explored yesterday but approached in a different way, as I would like to explore the use of mirrors to express control in terms of what is seen and what isn’t. In this, I used tried a whole host of new tripod set ups to try and accommodate better lighting.

I wanted to have multiple versions of myself within the image, with the focus leaning towards one of the faces as this allowed for a direction within the piece for the viewer to follow whilst also filling the frame. I found these images worked much better than those from yesterday, but I still feel there’s part of this project I can continue to explore deeper. I think tomorrow I will try again, and continue to shoot through the mirror but with another point of predominant focus.
